BRIDGE was born out of a clear need to support Ukrainian citizens who had been forced to leave their homes because of the war. The initiative began in 2021, when Marco Mensink came into contact with several Ukrainians during a skiing holiday in Bukovel, Ukraine. Following an urgent appeal for shelter for a family who had survived a rocket attack, Marco organised temporary accommodation for around 25 people.
Toen deze mensen vroegen om werkmogelijkheden, schakelde Marco zijn zakelijke netwerk in. Deze samenwerking resulteerde in het succesvol bemiddelen van de eerste tien migranten naar passende banen. Dit leidde tot de oprichting van ons bedrijf, aanvankelijk bekend als MKBemiddelingsbureau. Met de groei en ontwikkeling van onze activiteiten werd besloten de naam te veranderen naar BRIDGE, wat staat voor Bemiddeling, Relatie, Integratie, Diversiteit, Groei, Eenheid. Een afkorting die de verschillende facetten van jullie diensten dekt. Daarbij symboliseert het het slaan van bruggen tussen vraag en aanbod op de arbeidsmarkt.
